Driving lessons -
April 25th 2010, 05:22 PM
I'm saving money from work to have driving lessons. My friend payed £170 for a pack of 10, so I'm hoping the ones I will have will be the same
I will have £80 next week and hopefully there will be more shifts in the pub I work in so I can have to save more. My dad will give me £30 so I'll just need another £70.I don't really know how to go about this :/ I text the same friend asking but I don't think she has any phone credit to reply. Where do I find driving instructors in my area? and do I have the lessons first, then the theory test? :/ I'm a little confused. I'm so used to my dad sorting out things like this out for me I don't know what I'm doing. He doesn't really want me to learn though :/ I'm lucky he's giving me £30. ![]() |

my dad got me insurance on my car and i got used to driving with him for a while (mainly because i was too lazy to actually find an instructor) I then took my theory test as i wanted to get that out of the way, besides you have to take your theory before the practical (although remember once you've taken your theory you have to then pass your practical within two years, otherwise the theory certificate becomes invalid and you have to do it again)
THEN i used my friends instructor - she gave me the number and i just rang and booked my first lesson! had a few lessons and then she advised me to book my practical which ive done and have my practical test tommorow!! ahhh anyway; that's how i did it anyway! finding a driving instructor should be quite easy. the county im from has a website where theres some instructors, so it kind of depends whether whichever county you're from has one of these! |

Yellow pages will have some driving instructors in
![]() Also, I suggest going to a small, local driving school rather than something like BSM as they tend to be cheaper. ![]() |
