Scared to Shave - July 11th 2010, 07:10 PM

I am scared to shave with a non-electronic shaver, I want to finally brake the habbit as i know soon the electric shaver will not do the job, But im so scared of shaving with a manual, Any help?

hey hey no need to be scared. don't press too hard with the shaver as the line will cut, you wont feel the pain but you will when water lays on it. follow your heart and let it do the job. hope it helps

Don't be afraid... just make sure you dont scoot the blade sideways on your skin, dont press too hard and use shaving cream, you'll be fine. Even if you do get a little nick it wont hurt hardly at all...just DONT Put After shave on it, cuz it'll burn. it takes a few time of practice before u'll get comfortable, but after that it should be easy.

Anyways, like others have said, just dont press to hard and do short smooth stokes.... And us shaving cream for your first few times, not soap, its takes skill to do it with soap.

Yeah, as long as you are gentle, you should be totally fine! I've been shaving with a manual since I was about ten, and I've never had a traumatic experience
