A Beautiful Event/Thing you have seen. - July 31st 2010, 12:30 PM

Hello there everyone. I wanted to start this thread for long to tell everyone of a really beautiful thing I once saw. This is it ;

I was in Mathematics Class in Highschool, about 2 years ago and I sat in the corner. And from my view I could see this girl call Diane(I think). She was quiet, not talkative but definitely softspoken. She is left handed. I was looking at her once and she was writing notes(copying them from the blackboard) using a pencil and as she was writing she made a mistake and she used the pencil eraser. She did it Blazingly fast but the way she did it made me look at Humans as amazing.

What have you seen that caught your eye that was beautiful in every sense of the word and what do you hope to see ?

NB : I hope to see the Aurora Borealis.

I came here to help out, so if you wanna talk or just need someone to bounce ideas or issues off of or something else then send me a message and I will reply as soon as I can.

When I first saw him, the man who I loved, the one person I've ever loved and ever will love. The only person who was able to give me butterflies and break my heart so immensely. I thought he was the one.
What I HOPE to see, as mean as this is, I hope to see a woman break his heart so he knows how it feels.

That reminds me... in this book I read once, it said something about everyone being under the same sky. If you think about it, it's really amazing.

Seeing the toddlers at work share without being told was always good.

And when they come and give you a hug or site on your lap - to me - that says alot.

True the sky is beautiful at night. But what I have noticed is how I saw many more stars I used to see when I was back in Africa, back at home. But here I haven't seen many stars here in America, I wonder why ?

Good for you. I must admit, I think Human beings are amazing, especially when it comes to love, whether as friends or as a couple. But what catches my eyes most about your post is the fact of how it affects your heart.

my friend was lighting fireworks one night. Once she'd lit them she ran down the hill towards us as the fireworks where going off and her dress was blowing in the wind, with the fireworks going off behind her. It was just such a beautiful sight.

Watching a birth. New life.

I wouldn't say it's beautiful (it's actually quite messy) but there was defintley something ... surreal about that moment.

I work in a restaurant, and I was serving customers one day, and this japanese family come in, walk up to me... The little boy, can't have been older than 6 at the most! He turns round has a quick conversation with his dad, in Japanese, then back to me and orders his families food in perfect English... Wow!

I once saw the most beautiful sunset. There were clouds of all colors, not just pink, but light blue, dark blue, purple, light pink, dark pink, red and orange. The sky was glowing yellow where the sun was setting and the rest of the sky was already growing dark to the point where you could clearly see the moon and stars. It was so pretty. I wished I had a good camera so I could show you guys a picture, but a photo just wouldn't be the same as the real thing. I stayed outside all evening just to watch it, despite the heat.

Light pollution would seem the most likely reason, especially if you're in,or near, a major city.

I did see a lovely sunrise once when the sky was a gradient of colour, from orangey/red in the East to blueish in the West

I've always thought that was really cool to see too.

Re: A Beautiful Event/Thing you have seen. - August 3rd 2010, 08:14 PM

I had one of those moments when I went to Wembley to see Green Day. They sang 21 Guns, and one of the lines is "Throw up your arms in to the Sky, you and I." I put my hands in the air and looked out in to the night sky with all the clouds and the stars, just like the words said, and then I felt my boyfriend pull me closer to him on the words "you and I". I dunno why, but that was one of the best moments in my life.

Then BJ sang Time Of Your Life with his acoustic guitar, and my boyfriend picked me up so I could see. I actually cried.
