don't call me stupid or senseless or anything but i gotta ask...

when a TH member is banned, will he/she be unbanned soon or is it forever?

i have to know since i miss a friend on TH, you can guess why.

I think it just depends how bad they were to get the ban, and whether they are worthy of being unbanned. I think you can PM an administrator if you have a question about a specific user.

The Code of Conduct says:

Permanent site bans lapse after six months. This means that after this time most banned users are able to return to TeenHelp if they are able to demonstrate that they have changed their behaviour and are willing to contribute positively to our community. Some users may have their bans extended, though, and this decision rests solely with the Disputes Committee. Users banned for serious offenses can usually assume that their ban will not lapse.

Or if they feel they were banned unfairly they can get in touch with the disputes committee and appeal it and try to get unbanned.

It's not always 6 months, actually. Usually it is, but in certain cases it can be less. You will be notified if it is less than 6 months though.
