Are online IQ tests accurate? -

I decided to take a few last night (I was bored) and my average score was about 105 which is slightly above average. I just wonder if they're accurate or not?

Some could be I guess. I personally don't trust most things on the internet though. Depends on the site as well.

I wouldn't trust an online IQ test further than I could throw it, which is not at all. To get a real IQ test you need a psychologist to administer it.

IQ tests are complete bullshit. At least online they are. I'd recommend you get administered by a professional to get a more accurate number.

Online IQ tests are fake. There are only 3 real IQ tests (at least in the US).

I'm sure there are some that give a reasonably accurate result O.o though I think I once read somewhere that ever iq test is different, and they have different levels of iq representing average and smart and things O.o

I took one IQ test online that was around 50 questions I think and it gave an accurate answer (As far as I know).
What I mean by that is I got within a few points of my dad's IQ. He said he scored around 130, I got 134. |

I don't trust the internet all that much- especially if it's some random site where you didn't pay for the test. It might give you AROUND what you are (with a huge margin of error), but nothing I'd rely on...
Ask your doctor/school counselor where you could take one

I thought there were three, but there may only be two. The Stanford-Binet and the Wechsler IQ tests are the only ones that are real. They are not available online; they must be administered by a human being.
