I <3 'Boobies' Bracelets (Breast Cancer) -
November 24th 2010, 08:39 PM
So, I was just curious about what you thought about these bracelets.
-Do you own a bracelet? -Do they mean something to you? -What are your thoughts? -Do you think that people get these bracelets to look 'cool'? Anything you might know about these bracelets would help. Here is what they look like if you all are curious. The website for more info is keep-a-breast.org Mods. Move this in the right place if it is wrong

Well, I know that they have them at Zumiez. I am not sure where else they have it.
You can go online and order them! They come in pink, teal, black, green, etc. They have the feeling of a yellow Live Strong bracelet. They are thick ish bands and they are made of rubber. I am wearing mine right now. The money helps with breast cancer and what not. ![]() I was looking for a breath of life For a little touch of heavenly light But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh |

I don't have one but I want one. They are for a good cause and I love bracelets so I'd probably end up buying loads

I'm going to ebay them. A close family member died from breast cancer just over a year ago, so it's something I support.

I agree with Saphire, even if people are buying them to look cool and "in" at least they're still donating to a good cause

Back when I lived in Oregon those bracelets were everywhere! I never actually had one, but I sure wanted one. My cousin and a few of her closest friends who are now seniors in high school have them too. But their principal (My old one) is an idiot, and banned them from school because they were inappropriate. That caused a lot of angry people. But last I heard, they are still banned, and my cousin's friend still wears her all the time, but the teachers ask her to cover it....
But anyways, I think that the bracelets are really cool, and if i ever find one for sale down here, then I definitely buy one. =D |

I haven't seen these bracelets around here all that much. I've only seen them on one girl from my school and that's it. I really want one though! I like it when my money goes for a good cause.

I like the cause and everything, but I think I would be too humiliated to wear something that said I love boobies to be honest.

I think people just wear it because it's funny, not because of the cause. At least where I live it's like that. I own one, but I think I gave it back because I felt like it didn't fit right for my heterosexual orientation. <_<;

I love how they're for a good cause and I would totally buy one! But then again, I agree with Kylie. Sometimes people only want to wear them to look cool, like the boys I've seen so far. It also depends on how you see it. Bearing the words "I love Boobies" could go two different ways--that you respect and want to care for the cause or that it's just to make yourself look cool.

They're popular here. But if I'm going to be honest, they're kind of a "popular" thing around here (i.e, all the obnoxious preppy alcholics wear them)... and I find that pretty funny seeing as I saw them two years ago.
I want one though. The cause is awesome.
