I have always loved Midevil times, and the Renaissance period. So that is probably where I would go.

I'd probably say when I was 11 years old; that was around the time I quit soccer and I had some good potential. I wouldn't go below that though.

I have three top parts of the past I would go to, no specific order.
1- To the 1500's, more specific to 1519 when Cortés first arrived to México. I would like to experience how the indigenous people lived before and during the conquest of the Spanish. 2- Ancient Greece they contributed many important developments to the field of mathematics, geometry, the idea of formal mathematical proof, number theory, mathematical analysis, applied mathematics, and integral calculus the also they developed astronomy. 3- Industrial Revolution mainly because a lot of things were going on and been discovered new inventions. Everyone is born right-handed. Only the greatest overcome it. |

I'd probably go back to around WWII. My grandfather was in the Army and fought in WWII, so I'd like to see what he had gone through.

I'd go back to mid-1665, when the calculus was starting to plant its seeds in the mind of Sir Isaac Newton.

Re: Time Machine -

I'd go to so many different points in history....
- Poland, Sept. 1, 1939 - Hiroshima, August 1945 - Yucatan, 1519 - Britain, 1066 - Philadelphia, July 4, 1776 As well as bearing witness to events unfolding as a whole - South African apartheid - Vietnam War - Civil Rights movement - French revolution - American revolution - The age of the Conquistadors (1521-1600) There are so many others that I'm either forgetting, don't know how to explain, or don't feel like listing. The past has so many fascinating moments. I wouldn't go forward in time because I'm quite sure that no one is supposed to absolutely know what's supposed to happen to anything or anyone in times to come. We will ask nothing. We will demand nothing. We will take. French Graffiti, 1968 29078006202249 |

I'd probably go to ancient Egypt. It sounds like such an interesting time, and lots of interesting people around too.
Also, I'd go to times when Gods and Spririts caused things like disease, because I like thinking in different ways and to go to a time period when theories were the basis of knowlegde and we didn't have technology to prove the ideas were right, we relied strictly on logic and circumstance. It's interesting. Oh, and ww2. Not for the war itself, but the experience of it all. Just for a day or something. ![]() Would you let me see beneath your beautiful Would you let me see beneath your perfect Take it off now girl, take it off now girl I wanna see inside. ღ |

Oh, the possibilities. I'd like to go back to when my mum and grandparents were little, and I'd like to go back to the 90's because it was just better then. The 60's, because I'd want to see how different everything was culture wise. Basically everything, I'd just want to see it all.
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." |

Hmm... It's tough to choose just one time period, so I'll just do top three
![]() 1. 1910s - I love the style in this era when everything was very elegant. The 1910s also makes me think of Titanic haha ![]() 2. 1950s - I also just love the style during this era. 3. Prehistoric - I'd like to see some dinosaurs too! :P ![]() |

Yes, it's that simple. Life for you has been less than kind So take a number, stand in line We've all been sorry, we've all been hurt But how we survive is what makes us who we are. I would go back to a few places.
![]() 1. The second world war. Yeah, those were some hard times, but they were the most interesting. Plus, id like to experience life like they did, and go through what they went through just to learn. 2. The 1800's. Which I believe was the Oregon Trail time. I've always been fascinated with this because they were able to live on food they had to hunt for, little money, no technology, and barely any medical. Id like to learn survival skills. Not to mention, I feel I would be a lot more grateful of what I have now, if I resided in that time for a while. 3. Back to when jesus was supposedly alive. Would like to confirm or deny what people have been arguing about for many years. ![]() I was looking for a breath of life For a little touch of heavenly light But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh |

Feudal Japan, without a question.
Oh and I'd go see this Jesus dude everyone's talking about. Check out the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Watch the Great Pyramid of Giza being built so as to work out how the fuck they actually did it. Ancient Greece to enjoy myself and indulge in the history of the place. I thought about you for the rest of the day. Catching my head turning to find you again. I hated myself for it. |

1. This is going to seem really stupid, but I would actually probably go back to Shakespeare's time because it would be so amazing to see one of his shows or even be in one of them.
2. Ancient Greece. Athens to be specific. I would really love to see the arts being developed there. =) (Yes, I'm a sucker for the arts. xD) 3. The French Revolution. 4. The 50's because they're style is amazing. =) ![]() People help the people, And if you're homesick, give me your hand and I'll hold it. |

Re: Time Machine -

Wow. great ideas for just having fun guys and gal's.
I seek more purpose than that however. I would travel back in time to 1970. My purpose? Invest in IBM, Become a silent partner in Apple, provide the start-up funds for Google thus achieving a majority percentage of stock in the company. Invest in India, specifically the telecommunications infrastructure. Purchase the NY Times and make it's mandate to be as unbiased as possible. Pump money into photovoltaic cell research, passive heating and cooling methods, and wind turbine farms. Purchase the majority stock in Chevrolet and make the company initiative to develop a truly fossil-fuel free, renewable and "green" line of automobiles. By this point I will most likely be the most powerful/richest man in the US, if not the world. That means it is time to use my power for a battle of morality, no? ... Crush the tobacco industry by funding massive research efforts into the true effect's of smoking. Use my influence to get the government to subsidize national smoke cessation programs and ban smoking in all public areas. Get multi-national backing for the design and construction of a space elevator connecting earth to it's orbit and opening up the universe to the private sector (I.E. me, and whoever I allow into space) Construct a massive orbital space station on the receiving end of the space elevator, and begin colonizing the moon. Begin to terraform the lunar soil to be self-sufficient, Create the Lunar Republic, of which I am Chairman. P.S. on the moon, everything would be Steam-Punk themed. Note - there are literally thousands of additional considerations I would make about societal issues, dealing with poverty, sickness, health-care, etc. But I would be here all month if I were to list everything I would accomplish. You know you are on the precipice of greatness when you feel joy, fear, and the butterflies of change all at the same time. ![]() |

Oh my, the potential here... So many places and so many times... I guess I'll do what everyone else did and state my top 3! In date order...
1) Go back to 1999, when life was easy, good and happy. I would probably force myself to have good traits and be a good person... 2) Go back to the 1980's and meet David Bowie! I love him so much, his music, his fashion and his general persona! 3) Go back to 1966 when England won the world cup! Something I hope to experience in my life! When life gives you one thousand reasons to cry, show life one million reasons to SMILE! ![]() Because we all love pigs |

I would visit Italy, and meet my great-grandmother. She died before I was born, but my mum tells me all these stories about her, and she just sounds like an amazing person.

I'd definitely go back to the 1950s, 60s, or 80s, the 1800s or anywhere around that time period, and back to the age of the dinosaurs and such. Of course, there would be lots and lots of precautions I would take! Wouldn't want to get eaten by a T-Rex.
