Okay, is it just me or have the number of forum mods gone up, and the number of live help/help link people gone down? And for the latter part of the question, I really thought there were a lot more but now there are only like 31 each and they're pretty much all new..?

I think there might be an error in the numbers, I saw that too. I don't think there is 31 in everything. But I'm not completely sure.

I checked thed list, there are 31 of both HL and LH. I don't know about whether they are going down though but there will be new staff coming and people leaving, thats just how it works.

There's also people who have access to HL/LH while having a different Primary, such as Buddies can have access to either one, or both. People come to staff and go from staff all the time, we try to help everyone the best we can though. (:

As said, members become staff and some leave staff so the numbers are bound to rise and fall occasionally depending on that.

The overall numbers haven't changed tremendously, but how we record them has. Previously the statistics at the bottom of the Support Forums showed everybody who had access to either HelpLINK or Live Help, but these figures were misleading because some people were counted more than once, and many of those included didn't actively use either system. Therefore the statistics now reflect how many volunteers have their primary role in each area, and excludes the rest.
I don't think our number of Forum Moderators is especially high right now. Actually, it's relatively low, since we're currently in the process of recruiting for a number of vacancies. |
