anyone have any role models? - September 4th 2011, 05:05 AM

Who is your role model and why? Mine has to be either John Cena,Rey Mysterio, or randy orton. I look up to all three of these men. Has watching there dvds I see how great people they are outside of the ring, and gained a lot more repsect for who they are, how talented they are, and how they have taught me lessons, to never give up(as john cena says) and how to honor your culture(how rey mysterio represented hisself) and how to get back up when you fall(as I learned about randy orton's life)

as non famous people, I would have to say my fiance' eric. He is amazing and has taught me so anythings I can use in the future(with or without him in it)

Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn for being amazing women, and Lacey Mosley for proving that things always get better, you can achieve your dreams, and you need to have faith in yourself and in those around you.

Florence Nightingale. I learnt about her when I was little and I even named my doll after her. That she did something so big for hospitals and nursing, despite being a woman, is amazing, and although I'm not looking to go into that career, she inspires me to do whatever I want to do, regardless of things making it difficult.

My best friend is my role model and inspiration. She's been through hell and she still keeps her head held high. She stands up for what she believes in and she's not afraid to tell people what she really thinks. Luv you Lace!

My "big sister" is my role model. She isn't actually my big sister. She works with my dad and she is 30 years old, but she is like the big sister I never had.

I do have a role model, but she isn't famous.
I got really close to her this summer. She was a missionary in India and now she's teaching English in Thialand. I also want to be a missionary and she has answered so many questions for me. She's also a great Christian example.

Demi Lovato. <3 and ike someone above me said, my little brother.. he has no clue i look up to him at all. hes been through a lot at such a young age.. when i was his age things were just starting to happen for me.. when i was his age, he was born. Just. I don't know how he deals with it at 8 years old.. I wouldn't have been able to. or if i did, I don't know how i would have done it. I dunno. Hes just an inspiration to me. he's so smart and diong so well with everything. He's still managed to stay an innocent little kid through all of our famillies problems. He gives me hope.

Demi Lovato saved my life.<3

Adele.

She so down-to-earth and care free.
Plus, it's nice to see someone who isn't size 0 in the charts.

I also look up to one of my teachers. She's believed in me for 4 years and I really appreciate her for doing that.

My grandmother (who passed away almost a year ago), if you didn't know her, you don't know what it really means to be a servant and child of God.

My older sister, she doesn't take shit from anyone, but she is always nice to people who hurt her. She is so strong and beautiful.

My friend Emily, she has a lot of health problems, but if you have a problem with anything she'll be the first person to offer you a shoulder to cry on.

My friend Torrie, she loves who she is and knows who she is, she doesn't let anyone tell her she isn't good enough.

My role model is Florence from Florence and the Machine. I absolutely adore her and her passion for music. It's absolutely inspiring. Also, I love her music. It's touching, for lack of better words.

My non famous role model is my old music teacher. He was absolutely fantastic. He was inspiring because his passion for music was none that I had ever seen before. He had a way of touching peoples lives on a daily basis. He retired, and at the retirement party.. over 200 people came. He inspired many local musicians, and taught for 45 years. One day I was sad, and he came up to me and said "you're not having a very good day are you?... well I'm allways here for you" and then ruffled my hair. He was the one that made me want to be a musician as a career.

Also, my counselor. She is a very level headed woman full of wisdom. I looked upt her, immensly. She was the driving force that got me through my lowest point.

I was looking for a breath of life
For a little touch of heavenly light
But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh

I look up to teachers in general. I find them to be so inspiring, and I feel like they give so much. I love how passionate they are about the subject they're teaching. It's great to see people so invested in learning. I also admire how much they care for their students. They really want you to succeed in life. And they stick with this career, even though they have to put up with so much. I think teachers are the most overlooked heroes.

Three of my biggest role models would have to be:

1. Ozzy Osbourne
2. James Maynard Keenan
3.Marilyn Manson

Why you ask?
Because Ozzy has survived so much, but yet he's so strong and still loves his family like you wouldn't believe, he still has a good heart underneath the dark clothing the heavy metal music. His music is amazing, it rocks, and I've always rocked out to him and looked up to him like a role model, just because I love how crazy and out there he is, how unique he is and isn't afraid to express himself.
As for Maynard, he's such a talented, intelligent man who has alot of interesting outlooks, and alot of amazing music, he really brings the stage to life and once again uniqueness is admired here as well as him just being an awesome person altogether.
And Marilyn may seem like an anti-christ to some, but I don't care what people's opinions are. I've seen interviews of him and everything he says is SO true, he has accurate and intelligent outlooks and speeches on so many things, he understands the way the world works and doesn't fall into the propaganda shit. He's his own person and not afraid to stand out and be so, and I admire him for that.

'Birdy'- She inspires me because I absolutely would love to have a voice like hers, it's wonderful and stunning, I love her music.

Nick Vujicic- He has no arms, no legs yet he still does most things and beyond. He inspires me because he believes in his self and lives the dream. He is famous because people would never have thought somebody with no arms and no legs would be able to do the things he has done and does in his life; all in the name of believing in his self.

My role model is Dave Mustaine. Not only because he's the lead singer in my favorite band, but because he's gone through a lot of things [drug addiction, being kicked out of Metallica, the whole package] but he still manages to keep his head up high and not go back to his old ways.
