Everything seems to be getting better :) - March 17th 2010, 03:17 PM

I've been taking citalopram for nearly three weeks and they're working I haven't cried at all since I've been taking them, which is an achievement for me. Everything just feels more stable My mood swings are still kind of there but I'm no longer happy/optimistic one minute and then crying and wanting to die to the next. Now I'm happy/optimistic one minute and then just kind of emotionless the next :/ I guess that's not exactly good but better than before Maybe I just haven't been taking them long enough. I also get tired/dizzy feelings now and then but I think I can live with that.

Like I said I haven't been taking them very long so I'm trying not to be too optimistic but so far so good

Hey Ceilidh!

I think it's wonderful that you're feeling better! It's definitely going to take some time for the medication to work its at its best, but it sounds like things are certainly heading the right direction.

I'm really happy for you.

Thanks I think it may be making my paranoia worse though :/ hmmmm I'll talk to my doctor about that and the dizziness, but like I said I can deal with them both

I honestly haven't been this genuinely happy since I was about 10.
