Finally told them - June 1st 2010, 04:57 AM

I finally reached out and told my friends about my depression. They're not taking it well - they're very upset and worried. But they're taking it, and that's what matters. I was always so scared they'd give up on me or get freaked out and break away from me... But now I know I was just being paranoid. I'm so relieved.

Hey there.
That was such a brave thing to do! Well done.
It's natural for them to be upset/worried, but they sound like they're taking it reasonably well, so it seems like you've now got a pretty good support network.
I hope everything works out for you.

It's harsh, and cruel.

world is as it should be,

I'm so glad that you decided to tell them. It took a lot of courage on your part, which I applaud you for!
I'm glad that they're taking things pretty well. Like Francesca said, it's natural for them to be concerned about you. I hope that things work out for you and start getting progressively better. I'm here if you want to talk!
