I didn't cut last night :D -

I didn't cut last night.
Oh, I wanted to really bad. But I didn't. I texted my boyfriend, got him to say something to cheer me up. Then I drew a butterfly where I wanted to cut. I kept telling myself in my head not to. Don't do it, don't do it. And then I wrote down all the things that were making me angry and upset and crossed through them with red crayon. I made some words out of my full name to take my mind off it. I came up with some quite big ones, like mermaid and roman. And then I fell asleep holding the comfort cross my boyfriend got me. This morning I woke up still feeling empty, but the urge isn't nearly as strong. I got through the night.  Do you wanna come with me? 'Cause if you do, then I should warn you - you're gonna see all sorts of things. Ghosts from the past. Aliens from the future. The day the Earth died in a ball of flame. It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be: The trip of a lifetime! |

That's amazing I know from my own experience how hard it is to resist that urge and not cut...I'm glad that you also found other things to distract you that didn't contain to hurting yourself in other forums that also is a big thing. So great job:} Keep it up if you ever need someone to talk to just know you can talk to me.
