Why Me? Here is a safe space to let it all out, where you can rant about all the bad things life throws your way. Sometimes it just helps to ask "why me?"

lol, again.

Surprised?

No.

He goes and throws 500 in the casino. Struggles to pay me back 20 which he acted as if it was a huge loss for him. Then he phones me up drunk later and asks if he can buy by some one of my drinks off me for 25. I didn't sell 'cos it's like 40 I think. He makes hell a lot of noise at times. Annoying.

He ain't depressed. Immature? Maybe, I can't quite tell. Reckless? Probably. Stupid? No... he can be very crafty. He's made it to the 3rd year of university and isn't doing badly in exams. He doesn't cheat in exams either. I've seen him working lol. His assignments suck though. I've had to help him out every time lol (which is why he offered to pay me money that he owed).

With people like this it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference if they won the lottery. They'd be broke in a month again, and probably 10x worse because the banks allow larger overdrafts and loans to people will lots of money because they're seen as "more reliable".

I ain't lending anymore to people like this. I'll throw a bag of porridge (90p) at him if he says he hasn't got money for food. I hope he asks me for money just so I can do that. lol.

The worst part is... why don't people like him learn??? It's the 3rd year. This has happened EVERY YEAR to him. He works during the summer like a mule from something like 7am to 9pm, 6 or even 7 days a week for 3 months. Even at minimum wage, that brings in about 5,000 I think. Where does it all go???

Maybe this should be moved? I have no idea.

"I don't care about politics"
Then politics doesn't care about you either. Truth. You've got to make your voice heard, if you want to be listened to. But that's too logical for some people, so let me go a step further. Not making your voice heard, leaves other people free to hijack it by speaking on your behalf, even if they don't actually give a shit about you. That's politics. So, make your voice heard. That's not a quote from anywhere. That's just me.

Re: Loudmouth opposite my room is broke - May 10th 2012, 06:26 PM

I think that this thread should stay in this Forum. However, if you want me to move it somewhere else, you can PM me.

Where does it all go? The casino I guess

Lets say that he is reckless. But why should he be? Simply because he has only himself to care for. Its not like he has a whole family that he has to provide for. So he can be afford to be a bit reckless. He will become responsible when the time comes.

He does sound responsible. Or how else would he handle that hectic job? Or get good enough grades? He might just like to be wild. After all, you can't be wild when you have a wife and kids to feed

Take care
