Why Me? Here is a safe space to let it all out, where you can rant about all the bad things life throws your way. Sometimes it just helps to ask "why me?"

Thumbs down hmphhhhhh - July 29th 2012, 09:43 PM

Is this all life is going to be till we retire?
Work, sleep, work, sleep, pay bills, work, sleep....
How utterly boring!!!

*sigh*

You don't know about my past, and
I don't have a future figured out.
And maybe this is going too fast.
And maybe it's not meant to last,

Hey Sophie,
Not going to lie, sometimes I think like this too. But then I remember that there's a lot more to life then just those things. First of all, the routine becomes a lot more bearable if you're working a job you actually enjoy. If you're not already doing that, try job hunting for something that fits your interests...or if you're in schooling to work towards a career that interests you...just hold in there for a little while. You're also leaving out all the great little things that life has to offer. You have the moments you get to spend with friends, family, partners, etc. And the spare time where you do things that you enjoy. There are so many more little things that make life interesting, but sometimes we lose sight of that in the daily routine! (On a side note, I recommend that you read The Book of Awesome by Neil Pasricha. It may help change your perspective on the things that occur in your everyday routine!)

Take care! :]

Hai Sophie

Life is what you make it. If you are bored of the same routine, then go out there and do something different everyday. Take up new projects. See movies, play in parks, do scrapbooking. There is so much that you can do.

Good luck!
