"I know people" - May 17th 2016, 11:04 PM

Most people know the type. I'm talking about the type of people who are so sure of themselves, that they somehow think that even at first sight, they are capable of judging someone's entire character. How insightful (sarcasm intended).

Sure, there are ways of profiling people. Scientific ways of doing this even. But to think that you "know" someone just based of how they carry themselves walking down the street, or because you once had a drink with them...

... fucking retarded.

Don't do it. Or if you do it, keep it to yourself. It is sometimes better to let people think you're an idiot instead of opening your mouth and proving it.

"I don't care about politics"
Then politics doesn't care about you either. Truth. You've got to make your voice heard, if you want to be listened to. But that's too logical for some people, so let me go a step further. Not making your voice heard, leaves other people free to hijack it by speaking on your behalf, even if they don't actually give a shit about you. That's politics. So, make your voice heard. That's not a quote from anywhere. That's just me.

jesus fuck, i'm seriously debating whether i should link this post to my friend who is EXACTLY like that..

he always brags about how he helps people with their "problems" and is like a free therapist, so he is constantly looking at people like that and "diagnosing" them with utter bullshit.
apparently i've been diagnosed with having "masks and faces" and my friend has these "walls" to hide our emotions.

meanwhile he honestly just, in my experience at least, makes my problems seem even worse, because he only focuses on the worst possible things that could happen.

we should gather up all the people like that and just put them on their own little island, where they can make snap judgments and diagnose each other all they want.

i don't know what i'm supposed to do
