Why Me? Here is a safe space to let it all out, where you can rant about all the bad things life throws your way. Sometimes it just helps to ask "why me?"

Another very long week. - July 25th 2016, 02:55 PM

Okay. So nothing too heavy here, just feeling slightly down, and wanted to rant/talk about a few things. So, Jordan goes on these conventions for work. Every year convention times rolls around, and usually he will go to a show for three days, come back, take a week, then leave again for three days, ect. He usually does this for three to four shows a season. Well I just found out last week that his boss is asking him to go on a different convention this year. Instead of a Game-con, or Comic-con, he wants him to go to a Magic The Gathering show. While Jordan loves MTG and is really excited for this, he will be gone for an entire week and a half. Not just three days.

I'm honestly not looking forward to it. Ava has never been away from Jordan or I for that long before. And while I will be home for her, I can already tell it's going to be very hard on her, and it's going to be very hard on me as well. Because I rely on Jordan for a load of things Throughout the week, it's going to be insane for me to have to juggle all these things by myself now. My Mamaw is going to come and stay with me while Jordan is out of town, which is great! I honestly don't know if I could get through this without her. She is such a lovely spirit.

Anywho, Jordan wants to start doing these extra conventions with his boss, and while I know the extra money would be great for us, and Jordan really enjoys going and learning while he is there, we really miss him here at home.

Thanks for letting me go on about this. While it may not seem like such a big deal to some people, it's a huge deal to me. So yeah, thanks again.

Hey, there, I'm glad your Mamaw is coming by to help out with Ava.

Maybe next year you and Ava could go with Jordan? Are these convention long-distance? I'm sure Ava would love to see new places, maybe you could go to the zoo or park during the day while he's at these conventions, and then hang out together at night.
