Another thing to stress about - May 10th 2018, 08:23 PM

Okay so back when my mom called the cops and had a lady talked to me about my depression, the cops said that it'll help me and my mom.

Now I have to pay 355 dollars in 120 days.

Apparently having a counselor talk to someone who is suicidal costs money. But thing is, the cops never once told us that there was a fee. That it costed money. I am just... ugh. I mean, I don't even have a job! How am I going to pay this off? My mom told me it was because of my stupid mistake (however she failed to mention that she was the main reason for anything to happen with threatening and hitting me). She said that she wasn't going to pay for anything because the bill was for me. It said my name and everything. Not to my parents, but to me.

If I don't find a way to make this amount of money and pay this bill, it'll ruin me. It'll be on my serial ID and I will have difficulty buying a house and/or car int the future and it'll hurt my credit.

I don't get it. I am over here trying to get better, and BAM. This pops up. Why doesn't my mom get any bill? Why am I the one to get punished? My mom can get away with beating me and not even trying to help with my anxiety and depression, yet I try to do good and I get hit with this? I swear, I'm literally thinking what the topic is titled. Why me?

When the world drags you down, roll over and smell the roses.

I am so sorry that you are having a hard time with this right now and I hope that you will be okay soon.
You said that you have to pay $355 dollars, can you try asking you're neighbors or anyone else that you know who has little kids and see if you can babysit for them for money? Or if you have a lawn mower, ask if you can cut someone's grass to make the money. Or see if you can try having a bake sale to raise the money or selling candy bars. Or if you have any thing of your's that you want to get rid of, see if you can have a garage sale to make extra money.
I hope that you are able to come up with something that will work for you to get the money so that you can pay for this and you will be okay soon. Hugs.
