Want to cry. - February 8th 2019, 10:07 PM

Our car was hit and it's the one that my dad always rides in because of his wheelchair. And because it's a handicap vehicle not all of the dealerships want to fix it because it's double the weight. It's going to be around $1,000 to fix the gas leak because it was hit right in my door and however much it is going to be at the body shop. I can't believe this is happening.
Then one of my friends just stopped talking to me 2 months ago and she didn't tell me why she doesn't want to be friends anymore and she invited all my friends to a birthday party this weekend and not me. A few of my friends said if I can't go they are not, I didn't want to be mean, so I said that they should go because they were invited and I wasn't.

Hey There

Have you thought about scrapping the vehicle and maybe looking at some new ones or used? Maybe Insurance can help?

Im sorry about your friends. Sometimes girls in particular can be so mean. If she will not tell you why then it is her loss in my opinion and I would go on about your life and make her see you are fine. I'd love to keep all the friends I had but similar has happened to me and you know as life goes on it wont even hurt as bad and you will meet new people. (:

Hang in there.

I am so sorry to hear this happened to you. Did the person who hit your dad's car not leave a note? They really should have, and know that it's incredibly irresponsible of them to not do that. They have no idea of the grief they're causing a family, a family who already has a handicapped member in it. The world sucks, but there's still some good in it. Remember that.

I'm also sorry to hear about your friends. Sometimes, people just decide on a whim not to speak to a person anymore, no matter how close they are. Remember, that is her problem. Not yours. You seem like such a lovely young person, and I don't know why she did what she did. You acted like the bigger person by allowing your current friends to go to the party, that shows what a genuine, kind, caring human being you are.

I am so sorry to hear about the car being hit! It seems like that car is a lifeline to you and your family, so I hope you all are able to come up with some way to get it repaired soon!

It's also nice of your friends that they were willing to not go to the party if you were not invited. I agree with what was being said about it being that girl's loss! You're an awesome person and anyone is lucky to have you as a friend.

Thank you so much for your replies, help and kind words. I'll ask my parents about the Insurance to help us. No they didn't put a note, we came out and saw it. Thank you so much again. Hugs.
