Darn Summer!

Why does it have to be so darn hot outside?
It's almost 100 degrees when you add the humidity onto the already 90 degrees, and I feel as if I'm dying, seeing as we don't have air conditioning. Just a tiny little fan way across the room from me, that works worth crap. I hate hate summer, I hate hate not having air condititioning. We went to the mall today, so I got out of our furnace of a house for a couple of hours, but this is just terrible, especially since I have a terrible migraine as usual, and heat makes me sick. I'd give anything for snow right about now.

Gah, to bad complaning doesn't make it any cooler .

compared to a lot of places it's not even hot here, and i'm complaining about the heat! lol. i don't really like summer, i prefer winter to be honest.. i think it's because i much prefer winter clothing.

I don't know where you are in the world, geographically, but it's quite hot here too...and I live in Canada. Shocked?! Most people are, lol. Not having aid conditioning must be horrible. My air conditioning is on and has been on all week.

Even though it's pretty hot there, there are many places in the world that are much more hot. However, not having air conditioning makes the weather about ten times worse than it actually is. Believe me, I know the feeling. My old elementary school didn't have air conditioning...which was lovely.

My advice to you is to try your best to keep cool. It might be really difficult for you to stay home during the extreme heat, especially in the core of the afternoon. Not only is is merely uncomfortable but the heat also seems to have health affects on you - which isn't unlikely.

During the summer, if possible, get out of the house as much as you can. Go to the mall, spend some time at friends' houses, go to the store, go swimming, etc. I know it might be difficult to withstand this kind of heat but staying in the house all day will definitely make it harder for you. Get out and do things.

Urgh, even though I love the Summer one of the things that knocks it for me is being overly hot. I like the hot weather, but when I get too hot with no proper air conditioning I get agitated! I'm working in an office for the Summer and the building is shocking for heat. It might not even be that hot outside, but it's like a bloomin' sauna inside! The air conditioning is minimal, and for the size of the office has literally no effect, so for a full seven and a half hours a day I'm melting!

If the heat makes you sick, have you ever thought about buying yourself one of those mini portable fans? You can get those handheld ones, and carrying around something like that could really come in handy. Also, I don't know whether you've ever heard about it, but I was told today that when you're overly hot, running your wrists under cold water really helps you to cool down. That could be worth a try as well!
