I cant even look in the freaking mirror....

OK so i am usually NEVER one to worry about this..but lately i hate mirrors. They just make me feel like a terrible creature thing, that people would run screaming away from. :/ I feel so...ugly. And i am never like this! :O i mean..people tell me im pretty(not just my friends and family) like a random person in Walmart. I just thank the, and smile..but really im thinking "WTH. Are you blind or something..? i mean..are we looking at the same person??".
I do like my eyes though..theyre big and brown i guess. But i just HATE the fact i cant even stand to look in a mirror. I hate my hair..and there is nothing i can do about it at all. I have really small curls that get knotted so easily..and if i straighten my hair or get a perm it messes up my hair even more. Also i have a receding hair line..AT AGE 14. DUDE, WTF. Its cuz i always tie back my hair so tightly its literally yanking my hair out.
I also hate my cheeks. Theyre so huge and babysh..and when i smile, they look terrible. Also acne shows up on my face WAAYY TOO MUCH. I mean, im not covered in it i guess(i do wash my face regularly), but my face gets soooo shiny and weird looking. *sigh*
Also, my tummy is a little chunky..NOT MUCH. I mean im working on it and its not noticeable so...


BUT now i sound conceited and i dont want to be! i really dont... is hating to look at yourself in a mirror conceited??

I wouldn't call it "conceited"... more like "insecure". And to be honest, it's perfectly natural to feel that way at 14 years old! Your body is going through a lot of changes right now. I'm 21, and STILL dealing with acne. =P

When in doubt, listen to the people around you. They are saying you're pretty, so take their word for it. =)

Just like Robin said, it's normal to feel insecure as a teenager. It might seem like your friends and the majority of peers you meet have it all together and are completely confident, but that's not the case. Almost every teenager deals with self esteem issues, so don't feel like you are alone. You definitely aren't. But try to give yourself a break. You don't have to look like a supermodel or like the celebrities you see in magazines. You're you, and that's beautiful in itself. Listen to what other people say, they wouldn't say it if they didn't mean it.

Oh the joys of puberty. I feel you. I've gone through and are currently going through some of the things you mentioned. So you're not alone, teenage girls all over the world can relate.
You could try face wash for the acne. Sadly breakouts do still happen. If you wear makeup that could help cover it up a bit.
You're beautiful the way you are. I know sometimes it's hard to see yourself that way but you are. Trying standing in front of the mirror and when you're thinking about negative things about yourself tell yourself you're beautiful. Compliment yourself. Because you deserve it.
