Doctors are so stupid! - March 3rd 2011, 03:11 PM

You know what's SO great? When no doctor will authorize the medicine you've been taking everyday for almost FIVE YEARS. Doctors are supposed to help, not make things worse. So now I can't eat because I'm out of my medicine and they won't let the pharmacy refill the prescription. They KNOW I still need it. They KNOW I can't eat without it, food is repulsive, and I get sick if I eat it. I also can't eat anything with the slightest bit of hotness (spice wise) or I'll be in agony for hours. This really messes me up because I'm hypoglycemic and if I have another time when it happens every day I'm screwed, and not eating is going to make it worse and happen again.

That does sound messed up

I'm sorry to hear this Keena, did they not even give you a reason why they couldn't authorise it?

Wow, your doctors do not sound very helpful or nice. You would think that if they were doctors they would be doing everything in their power to help you, instead of what they are doing. Why didn't they authorize it? It seems so silly to me that they wouldn't. Especially since you've been taking them for five years.

I'm sorry, Keena. I hope it gets better<3

I'm sorry that happened to you. I would be really frustrated as well. Do you know the reason why the doctor wont authorize it? If you havn't tried the all possible doctors you could go try a new one.
