Why Me? Here is a safe space to let it all out, where you can rant about all the bad things life throws your way. Sometimes it just helps to ask "why me?"

Happened at the wrong time - August 26th 2011, 07:42 PM

I'm usually a fairly happy person but recently after looking back on the past year I'm just fairly annoyed about it

I sustained an injury a few years ago on my back and now is the time that I'm feeling the effects of it. Last year is when it started, I cannot walk properly because of it, so i was walking with a brace for 4 months and then moved to crutches on February so I've been on crutches for nearly 9 months.

The thing that's mainly annoying is the fact that it popped up in the year of gcse's and they mean a lot. i really do think that it affected my grades negatively, I'm an A* student and the exams were far from showing that.

On top of that I have no idea what 6th form I'm going to.

Also I've lost contact with someone I met briefly but I think I like her

There was more but I've forgotten it, I guess the odd thing is that I feel selfish for saying all this because I'm not in the worst position in the world but yea it feels like my future is falling out of my control the more i think about it

well you r not a selfish person for speaking your mind. i'm sorry about u hurting ur back. i know how much that can effect ur life. if you like that girl do everything in your power to let her know, don't let her go. try your best, thats all you can do.

Of course it feels like that you're in the worst position in the world. But truthfully, you are so lucky! Tons of kids don't have medical help. I know its hard right now but soon, everything will get better if you start to do the things that make you happy. Like join clubs and make new friends! It all starts with trying to change yourself.
