So... maybe you've seen me post on here before about my problems with my ex...
Well guess what. Here I go again. This past week I've been sick, tired, (not to mention emotional/hormonal) and easily angered/frustrated/etc. I learned on Sunday that my ex (who strangely still happens to be my best friend) will be going to homecoming. I'm happy for him! He's kind of a nerd (by "prep" standards) and said himself this will be the first dance he's been invited to. He's going with a girl I absolutely fucking hate. When James (not his real name but who cares) and I were trying to get back together, because we both said we still loved each other, etc. he said "I don't know... Emma says we shouldn't." WHO GIVES A SHIT WHAT EMMA THINKS? "Emma thinks what you're doing is wrong and she just doesn't like the way you're acting. She says we shouldn't get back together. She's one of many people saying that." WHO. THE. FUCK. CARES? WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK???? I even said, "Look I'm done waiting for my turn to come back around so to speak. Go with Ms. Perfect and stop thinking about me. If one of us is gonna get hurt either way, I'd rather it be me than Ms. Perfect." "Emma isn't perfect. She's admitted to me she has a history of cheating." Oh fuck no. I know I can't say this because we're not together and I shouldn't care. Yeah, he's not my boyfriend..... but he's my best friend, AND NOBODY WHO HAS A HISTORY OF CHEATING IS GONNA FUCK AROUND ON HIM. IF SHE DOES I WILL BREAK HER FUCKING JAW. Oh my God.... I'm just so mad... I don't even know what to do... I'm so tempted to just cut to let it all out...  Fuck I'm pissed...

Well that sounds like it'd suck. Why don't you just relax, and breathe. It's not easy in this situation, but it'll help, trust me. Have you told him that even though you aren't dating, that he shouldn't be with someone who cheats? And that it shouldn't matter what her or other people think, it's just you and him, and what makes you two happy. If it means being with you to be happy, he should be with you. Not with someone who cheats.

He just told me today that he asked her to homecoming because she was upset that no one else did. He really DOESN'T wanna go to homecoming with her.... Which makes NO sense to me. Like... I don't know why I just do not like this girl AT ALL. I just wanna smack BOTH of them in the face and ask them wtf they're thinking.
