My old psychiatrist just called. Seriously, why won't she just leave me alone? I quit for a reason.

Yeah, it was just to check up on me. I stopped seeing her about a month ago but she still keeps contacting me. I've already told my mother that I wanted to quit because of how pushy she was. I'm almost considering blocking the number :/

I wouldn't blame you, that's just obnoxious!
 Probably wanting money. Pretty ridiculous. As long as you're doing alright, , you really don't have a reason to go back. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Really annoying though. Blocking the number might be a good idea.

Sounds like she's really pushing to try keeping you as a patient, the part that stands out is threatening to write a letter to your doctor, that sounds like she intends to cause some serious trouble for you here, this definitely crosses the line and your mother should know about it. I suggest that you contact your doctor and let him/her know about the harassment so that she is not taken seriously, as well as file a complaint against the psychiatrist with the state's medical board.

Next time she calls just don't answer. I mean, its nice to be concerned, but if you don't want her calling, and she keeps doing it, just don't answer or ask your parents to not answer. Have you found a different psychiatrist to go to though? Preferably a better one? lol
