I was looking through my dashboard on this other site when I saw this person I follow had got a question from an anonymous person asking her if she could believe that black people cut too, then coming back and saying how could they see the blood on their disgusting skin. It pissed me off and triggered me at the same time. How can someone say something like that? Just because I'm black means I have no right to cut? Blood is red no matter what color you are, and last time I checked pain wasn't racist. And I hate how people can hide behind a computer screen and yet say something to ruin my whole day.

I'm really sorry you saw that. It's terrible when people assume things like that, because you are absolutely right. The color of your skin definitely does not in any way mean that you don't cut. Remember that you're beautiful no matter what color your skin is.

I'm sorry you had to see that. I hate when people say things like that. Just try to ignore them they aren't worth your time at all. You're beautiful no matter what color you are and no matter what you look like. Don't forget that.

That kind of hatred is something that bothers me to my core. People saying mindless, hateful things because they're ignorant. Know that you're beautiful and special, and that being so-called "different," doesn't make you any less amazing. <3

It is not your skin which is disgusting, it is that person's attitude which is!
These sorts of people are plain ignorant, so you are already better than they are.  As hard as it is, try not to let their comments get to you, because they do not deserve to have such an effect on you. <3  |
