Lightbulb skrew indie wannabes - January 15th 2012, 09:32 PM

I'm sorry if the title is harsh but the whole Indies fad is irritating to those who are indeed Indies. And the way I see it you're only indie if you didn't know it until it became a fad. This thread may seem a bit rude to those of you who like the Indies style that's out now but honestly that just doesn't seem Indies to me. Anyway you can reply as you wish I just posted this as something I've been thinking about for a while.

I believe that this would be better fitting in the "Why Me" section seeing as it's a rant, and doesn't pertain to advice concerning Fashion & Style.

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

Sorry, but this thread made me laugh.

Who calls themself an 'indie'? And who uses the term 'indies'?

I assume we are talking about hipsters here... the most irritating group of people on the planet...

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget
