I'm just confused and sad and angry :/

Hi, guys.

I'm just so frustrated and sad. My grandfather was just diagnosed with cancer and he has about a six months, max. I want to go see him (he lives several states away), but at the same time I know it'll just make me feel crappier than ever.

I feel like I'm floundering in school and I don't really know why. I'm just not motivated anymore and it feels terrible.

On top of all that, I had a really bad day. I found out that some people in a fandom that I'd previously thought was nice and welcoming were making fun of me behind my back and now I feel pathetic and stupid for not realizing the proper Internet etiquette. My mom and I got into a really petty fight and I just feel really low.

So. Just needed to get that off my chest.

Hey Clara, first of all welcome to TeenHelp!

You are not alone in how you feel. I think it's a good thing that you are kind of letting some steam off here. I can really feel for you on all accounts (been in similar situations before) and I can tell you that things usually work themselves out in a positive manner in the long run. I hope you begin to feel better as time goes on, regardless of the outcome of everything.
