Unhappy i might have to euthanize my dog.. - January 25th 2012, 09:17 PM

So i have to get rid of my dog and i found someone who wanted him (my dads friend) but when i went to hand her the dog he attacked her. He's a yorkie so it didn't do much harm but she refused to take him and now i have people telling me if he's attacking people for no reason then he needs serious behavioral training or he needs to be euthanized because he's a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can't take him to behavioral training because that takes time and i only have til the end of the to get rid of him My sister says its my fault because i didnt train him right but that's such bullshit he never had any behavior problems until a couple months ago when i started living with her. Her kids are always hurting him, hitting him, and kicking him and all kinds of shit and that's when the aggression started I'm not blaming my niece and nephews because they're just kids but fuck if she was a better mother and was actually around to help watch them this shit wouldn't happen i already had to get rid of my other dog last week (luckily the kids didnt mess with her too much and she now has a happy calm home) now I'm probably gonna have to euthanize the dog I've raised since he was a baby. He's only 2 1/2yrs old he don't deserve to die. If anything is my fault it was bringing here. So here i sit crying my eyes out wondering what I'm gonna do. And how I'm supposed to get thru not cutting myself and all the other bullshit in my life without the only thing that's been there for me thru it all.

We are all born for love. It is the principal of existence, and its only end.

I don't know a lot about dogs biting people and having to get them put down but I do know how much it hurts to lose a pet you love so much. We had to have my dog put down two years ago because of leukemia and it was one of the hardest things ever. I hope that you don't have to have him euthanized (and I don't understand why you would if he's such a small dog) but if it does end up happening I'm here to talk, and even if it doesn't I'm still here.

Here's to hoping you get to keep your little guy.
