You need to hear this. - February 5th 2012, 09:21 PM

So you sit there and ruin my confidence, my creativity, my LIFE, and when when I finally break the vicious circle, I'M the bad guy?

Woah, woah.
Hold up.

So, it's okay for you to both physically and mentally abuse me, but if I tell you--nicely, mind you-- that we can't be friends anymore, I'm the bitch?

Okay...no.

"But you told me this the day I stopped taking my depression medication."

Okay, fine. I don't believe for a second that you were on depression meds, but okay, I'll bite. However, YOU are actually the reason I'M on depression medication and have been for the past 3 years. Sorry to inconvinence you.

"But you never said anything! How was I supposed to know you were unhappy?"

Maybe because everytime I would attempt to explain to you how badly your words were affecting me, you'd say "I'm just kidding! Gawd. You overreact." and if I was to pursue it further, you'd just talk behind my back. It was easier just to take it.

"But you were my only real friend!"

If I was really your friend, you wouldn't belittle me every chance you got. And I find it rather hilarious how you wonder why people don't take a liking to you. The reason? Because at one point or another, chances are you've spread a rumour about them.

"Oh my god! You're still talking about that one time where I barely hit you? Get over it, it was an accident!"

Accident? That's funny. The way I remember it, I stood up to you in front of people (so I'd have witnesses when you inevitably chewed me out) and instead of attacking me with your words--your usual wepon of choice-- you reached over and smacked me. Nobody was even paying attention until you striked me.
The thing I find ironic is, I didn't cry. Not a single tear did I shed. But you...oh. You were flat out bawling. And then you got angry when everyone was asking me if I was okay and no one was paying attention to you. Oh, the laughs.

And now you want to "make it right" with me and "be my friend again"? Sorry. You've burned that bridge. The only thing you could do to make it better is stop existing because, frankly, I'm over you. You were a horrible friend and honestly, I can't look back and say I spent one minute with you that I really enjoyed. You're a horrible person and I hope karma comes back around and bitch-slaps you. You deserve it.

I can brown, I can be blue, I can be violet sky! I can be hurtful, I can be purple, I can be anything you like! Gotta be green, gotta be mean, gotta be everything more...why don't you like me, why don't you like me, why don't you walk out the door?

I love how you wrote this thread with a Q&A format. It shows that you've really thought about everything that happened, and you've even imagined how you would respond if your so-called "friend" came up with some responses. I'm proud of you for finally cutting this "friend" out of your life, because this "friendship" sounds quite toxic. It looks like you have quite a few REAL friends, based on that one instance where you were smacked and everyone wanted to know if you were okay. =)
