Lightbulb What to write on my cake?!?! - June 13th 2009, 04:34 AM

Didn't know where to post this =[

okay sooooo june 19th! I'm turning eighteen on that day, and I'm also hosting a birthday / graduation party! (i'm graduating today!)

I am getting a cake and I wanted something witty on it. I would like to have one giant cake, with something written on it that signifies my date of birth and my graduation. However, "Happy 18th Birthday Graduate" doesn't suffice for me!

Any ideas?! Oh I love Stephen Colbert, so any lines from him that could tie into this would be THE BEST and I'd love you forever!

Please and thank you, it means a lot!

101 Stephen Colbert quotes

There is a few good quotes there but it is hard to find anything that fits for a birthday or graduation.

One I found is....
42: "One small step for me. One giant leap for me-kind."

Sounds a bit big headed but it is your 18th birthday and graduation so it is a giant leap for you.

Ooo I love the one Rachel suggested. Other than that, I didn't really see any suitable quotes by Stephen Colbert.
You could do something cool like split the cake in half, and have one side decorated for graduation, and the other for your birthday.

"To die, would be an awfully big adventure."~ Peter Pan

"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."
