how long do you have to be on TH before people start to write to you...

when i write things on the forums i dont really get alot back.....sometimes no one writes back...sometimes i get like 1 person writeing back.......so is it just cause you have to be on here for a long time or no one writes to you....or something? ii dont post that much only sometimes....

It depends on your question and how you word it.
You'll get way more replies if you spell correctly, use sentences properly, and split up your question into paragraphs.

Then again if you ask a question that a lot of people don't know the answer to, then no matter how well you write it you won't get very many responses.

It doesn't matter how long you have been here. Personally i have been here over two years, i still get barely any replies on threads i make. Though i rarely make them lately. But a lot of it does matter what you ask, where you ask, how you ask it. Don't think it is because of you and not being around a lot. Sometimes people are just busy, or don't know how to reply if it is complicated.

urm, tbh i don't really pay much attention to who the person posting the thread is, i just read the thread and reply if i feel like i have something to add/say that might be kinda sorta maybe helpful.

maybe it's how you're posting? if your threads are too long you won't get many responses, because a lot of people just can't be bothered to read long threads. or maybe you're just asking for advice on something that people don't know much about.. don't be disheartened though, generally most threads get at least a few replies that are helpful.. keep posting. : ))

It dosent matter how long you've been on here. It just depends if your posts dont make much since or theres loads of spelling problems theres usually less responses. It really depends on the subject to. Just keep posting people do care. we get busy sometimes or just cant think of what to say but we do want to help out.

I'm the same. I don't really care who posts the thread at all. I'll only post if I find it insteresting or know the answer to the question.

I usually answer threads no matter who posts them. For some people though, I think the more advice you give, then the more advice you get. If you give thoughtful advice to others, they tend to notice when you are struggling yourself, and make sure to throw in a reply.

By the way, if you are looking for immediate responses the support forums aren't always your best option, because it can take people awhile to come across your thread. If you want instant advice, it would be more useful for you to use the support section of the chat room, or LiveHelp.
