nicest thing someone told you... - September 14th 2010, 11:47 PM

Just curious...
What was the nicest thing someone has told you?
Mine is...
My friend once told me that he would sell his body to human trafficking for me.

Random, I know

My best friend just walked up to me and said "You are my best friend and my idol, I really wants to be like you" Like they say, some comments stick with you forever, and that one certainly will! I have made her life hell for the last few months because I developed an eating disorder, but she stuck by me and I love her for it!

Some dude yelled "hey baby!" at me when I was in the car i wasn't wearing any makeup and I had one of those survivor(the tv show) buffs on and I don't know why but that dude made me feel really good and pretty

I think the nicest things I have ever heard have come from my best friend.

Either,,
"As long as I have a perfect friend like you, I'll always be okay."
or,
"You've always been there for me. You've always been so nice. I hope that you will stay my friend forever. I can honestly say that I'll always need you."

I will walk with you, so you're never alone.

Once in the Pyrenées we were technically obliged to leave the mountains because of an incoming storm, but we figured out that the law doesn't apply if you're making your way to a nearby refuge, so that's what we did - we ended up climbing 800m in the storm to get there It was an ordeal to say the least...

Anyway once we were there one of the guides said to me "You're easily the most stubborn person I have ever met. And that's good, because stubborn people are the most capable mountaineers".

And that kinda stuck with me

My boyfriend said to me once, "You are simply put the most amazing woman in the world"

And he's the romantic mushy gooshy type, so it really hit me that he cares for me

Re: nicest thing someone told you... - September 17th 2010, 09:38 PM

In my previous school, I was at a point of very low depression and thinking that everything was a waste of time. I felt like giving up on everything and I didn't have anyone supporting me in my efforts. Then, one day I was redoing a project because the first one broke. I stayed after my class hours to work on it. When I was done I showed my teacher and he looked it over then told me he was proud of me. That's the first time I ever remember anyone saying those words to me and I'll never forget it. He's the most awesome teacher I've ever had or ever will have.

My best friend and I were talking about my depression, and I said I was surprised she hadn't freaked out and turned away from me by now. She said she could never turn away from me and that I mean everything to her. I'm so lucky.

Off the top of my head I remember this one girl in karate seemed very competitive with me. I talked to her some years later and I guess she really looked up to me. Made me feel really good.

The other day one of the kidos said I'm his best friend. And then he said thank you for teaching us.

My best friend told me, in these words, "You've got this smile, like it's always ready and always waiting, for someone, anyone, to give it a reason to shine". I think that's one of the nicest things I've ever been told. I've never been able to see it myself, but I trust what she says to the ends of the earth. As long as she thinks it's true, that's all that really matters to me. <3

One of my friends, who does MMA, said that I was "fat in all the right places." I looked over his shoulder, thought for a second, and looked back and said "you know what? That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me"...which really isn't true, but really meant the most to me.

A good friend that moved to a new town quite far away left me a little message and it said
'I believe in you Charlotte, I think you're going to do great things.'

I was in a play in sixth year which one of my teachers came to see. The next day he stopped me after class and told me he'd been impressed and that sometimes 'it was like you weren't even acting.' Which may take a second to understand... but he's not the type to throw out compliments, so I loved it.
