Travelling in the city! xD

The four of us --My friends and I, have been rediscovering and planning trips around the city to places we've never been or have been as children! Yesterday, we went to the zoo, slightly on the outskirts on my city, Chennai (Tamil Nadu, South India). We had loads of fun!
We took what's called a share-auto (a tiny minivan like thing) to a place called a part of the city called Guindy. And from there we took the local train to Vandalur, where the zoo it situated! It was rather exiting!! In fact, we were in for quite an adventure on the train! The train journey took about 30 minutes. We didn't realize that the we were already at the station, though, when it arrived, and we had to rush out. The boys got out first and my girl friend got off as the train started moving, she landed and scraped herself a bit, and I was right behind her. I fell, and made myself land on my hiney, and gosh, it hurting badly atm!
It was a brilliant day! There were white tigers, kangaroos, zebra, giraffe, corcs, snakes, butterflies, wolves, hippos, and all sorts of animals! It was truly an amazing journey! I'm all sore today from walking for 5 hours around the zoo (and how can I forget my bruised hiney!!), but darn, it was definitely worth it! We're planning on checking out a lot more places too, very soon!
Incredible journey, undoubtedly, and very unforgettable!

Actually yes! Two that I remember very, very much.

The first time was last year. My boyfriend was going to be in class for most of the night, so one of his roommates and another friend and myself decided that we were going to hop on the Green Line (elevated train service that runs all over the city) and go deep into downtown Chicago. We literally went all over the place, and we even ended up on the 5PM news, since we happened to come across the building where the filmed it.

The second time was recently, when one of the museums downtown had a free general admission day and me, and two friends and one guy I didn't know well took the Orange Line (another train that runs through the city) to the museum. I had such a blast that day. Since Chicago is on the edge of Lake Michigan and the Museum was right there, we ended up sitting on the edge of the lake, chasing birds!

Soon, I will be taking a Haunted Ghost tour of the city. I'm really into ghosts and stuff, so it's pretty exciting for me to take the tour. I have done my research on all the haunted places in Chicago, so I know a lot about it but being able to actual visit the places will be so much fun. On top of that, the author of the books I used to do my research is actually the tour guide!

I love doing these trips. Sometimes a few friends will come with me, and we'll all drive down to Milwaukee, and then park the car and take the train to Chicago. We usually spend a few days there, just walking around, window shopping, talking, and enjoying the city. It really is fun to do.

Yup, that's what I'm talking about! Making us some memories and having loads of fun! Road trips are a hell of a lot of fun, especially with friends!!!
