Wow two year old's do not need Monster energy drink at all. I dread to think how hyper active that child is going to be, on second thoughts Good luck getting that 2 year old to go to sleep.

Oh God. It's because of people like this that we have so many idiots in this world. We allow them to reproduce!
I'm not sure if you guys have Spencer's wherever you live. It's basically a store that sells sex toys, drinking games, bongs, stripper poles, etc. Not a place for kids, but I see dads taking their 7 year old kids in there. It's disgusting. |

Free choice for the adults, but not for the children. That's like saying leaving a toddler home unattended is fine because it's free choice. It's irresponsible and bad parenting.
Giving it to a 2 year old is just fucking stupid. I don't care what way you look at it. Even if the two-year-old said "daddy, can I have a drink?" it's still stupid. If you let a two-year-old decide everything and have free choice they would be running around naked throwing big macs at each other. |

Exactly. If you put bleach in front of a toddler they'd probably drink it. An older/wiser person should have the sense not to do it though.

It's a matter of health. Those drinks are clearly labelled as not recommended for children. They're not safe for kids. If it was just a taste, like a sip, then I guess I wouldn't be as shocked but not a whole drink.
It's like the fact it's technically legal in the UK to give a 5 year old alcohol in a private home, doesn't mean giving a 5 year old a pint of beer is a good idea. But letting them try a sip isn't gonna kill them. And chances are, kids mostly dislike things like coffee and alcohol, they're not sweet enough for their tastes, and they won't ask again. It is really stupid, especially as said it's on the can of drinks like that are allowed for young children. If you're giving your two year old a drink, you give them a drink appropriate for that age, not an energy drink.
I dread to imagine how hyperactive that kid was after though. |
