Call me lame, but this is what I believe... - February 5th 2012, 11:12 PM

Well, I don't really know where to put this, but this seemed like a decent enough place.

I don't care if anyone calls me lame (No one on TH will ), because I believe that since I've started to watch anime, I've been slowly becoming a better person. This sounds strange, maybe more to those who don't watch it, but most anime have amazing messages in the story and it really inspires me and gives me confidence. Sometimes I even tear up because I well up with happiness when I am reminded to never give up. Now, I'm not totally obsessed with anime, I actually watch it every so often. Though, when I do, I get really absorbed in the message.

I am sorry if this is not the most literate or sophisticated post, but sometimes I feel like writing well, sometimes I don't. I hope I got the point across.

Hey.

I think it's great that something so easy to access gives you such happiness and confidence. It's good that you're able to watch things like this which can have a positive affect on you and actually make you a better person and give you the strength to carry on. Keep going.

It is so not lame I feel the same about novels and songs and movies, especially Bollywood movies. There is so much to learn from them. One of the best things I learnt from a Vampire novel! (House of Night). Every story has a message. It is up to us to find it.

Its easier said that done BUT most of the great things wouldn't have ever been done if they hadn't been said first.

Not at all lame!
I know how it is. I feel the same way about books/novels. They're, like, so much realistic and inspiring! Frankly, books are my best friends! ^_^
Glad to know that I'm not the only one!

Not lame!

I'm jealous, My manga and anime fanhood has brought on things that normal people wouldn't get... (yaoi fan'gal'... ;D) -and all that slash stuff...

But I can get what you mean, But I can't really find the good messages in what I read (seriously trying... Guess I'm shallow...)
