I don't plan on having kids, but if I end up changing my mind a girl would be Freya and a boy would be Benji.

Re: future childrens name. - July 8th 2016, 05:11 AM

If I ever have kids they would be named after anime characters.
I kid, I kid... but they'd have a middle name as homage to a fictional characeter though.

A really huge emphasis on if I ever have children:

For boys, probably Xander or Jacob.

For girls, I'm not really sure... maybe Faye.

Girls:
Beatrice
Emma
Ryley (or for boys)
Michelle
Cheyenne
Charlotte

Boys:
Harry
Peter
Xander
Liam

Do those names have any relation to doctor who for you? Jenna Coleman plays Clara a Peter capaldi plays the doctor. Is that why you like those names? Or was it just a coincidence?

Arabella (unsure about middle name maybe renee)
Hannah Renee
Emma
Sophia

Boys:

My boyfriend likes Gavin so we've decided on Gavin John Henry.

I used to want to name a girl Addison but now I have a niece Madison and that's too close so I'm not sure. Devin for a boy.

Re: future childrens name. - July 10th 2016, 06:05 PM

I don't ever, ever plan on having children, but I have thought of numerous names for nieces, nephews, and cousins.

My cousin actually just had a baby the other day and the name she picked out for the baby are two of my favorites.

I'd love a dozen furbabies though, and I plan on giving them human names.

Hermione for a cat, preferably if she's a ginger/tabby.
Taylor for a cat, preferably a Tuxedo. (girl or boy)
Gracie for a cat, preferably a Siamese.
Olivia for a cat, preferably a Siamese or Bengal.
Sylvie for a cat, preferably a black cat with a white spot on the neck.

Ginevra for a goldfish.

Chloe for a hamster or guinea pig.

Abigail for a hermit crab.

Some of those are actually fandom-based.

Hermione and Ginevra - Harry Potter
Olivia - Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Taylor - Taylor Swift

My all-time favorite girls name is Imogen, and I also like Parker, Cameron, Annabelle/Annabeth, and Eliza. For boys I like Simon, Ari, and Atticus.

As a Whovian I would love to say yes but it is literally just a coincidence! Maybe for Clara, as I think Doctor Who was the first time I heard it but the other two I have liked for much longer. But I would love to say yes!

These are my favourites that I have had wrote down for a great time. *Note, most of these names are specific to the area that I live and was the culture in how I was raised (and some are famille names) and to the most part, are somewhat bilingual. I wish my parents had given me a "bilingual name" because my name is usually pronounced far different by francophones then how anglophones typically pronounce it (but they didn't want us to be teased so we got sort of unique but English names.)
