Cool thks for the advice.

What you said makes sense. So far every girl I've ended up liking I've never talked to much and I figure it would be someone I'm comfortable talking to.
That's funny though how you went from hating each other to loving each other lol.

Well when I first started dating my boyfriend, i just liked him as a friend. But he was a really nice guy so I thought I'd give him a chance. I did like someone else at the time, and i did flirt with them a little in the begining but then i didnt anymore. And I'm really glad I gave my boyfriend a chance because I love him very much now. We've been dating for 4 months.

For the males:
When you tell a girl you love her, do you actually mean it?
When was the first time you told someone you love them and was it honest?

And if love is really all that we need,

I don't know about all guys. I think there are some bad guys that say it only as a way of getting a girl to do things. Personally, I would never say it if I didn't mean it (or think I meant it, if that makes sense). The first time I told someone was my first girlfriend and it was... kind of honest. I thought I meant it, but looking back I really think I was just kind of in a hormonal haze, you know?

I mean yes the first time I told a girl I loved her I meant it. I'm not sure if I really did love her or not, but yes it meant something really huge alot to me.
It was last december and it was the girl I've liked for 2.5 years, but she didn't reciprocate the feelings and I honestly don't think I loved her looking back, but I evidently liked her a lot because it took me 7 months to get over her. So if I didn't love her it was a lot more than a simple crush.

I think there's a difference between love, and being in love. for instance, you love you're friends, and you're family, but you're not in love with them. So when I tell a girl I love them, then I mean it, but maybe not in the way that they think I do. But I've only told 2 girls that I'm in love with them, and I think the first time I said I was a bit hasty, but the second time I think I meant it. I always tell girls I'm with about that difference so yeah... lol.

No! I might avoid them a bit if I didn't like them in that way though. It'd be a bit awkward. I think I'd like it if they came to me and said "Okay, this is weird." Because then we could have a laugh about it and I wouldn't feel so bad thinking I hurt their feelings.

Re: Questions for the opposite sex - Volume I - September 8th 2009, 08:17 PM

What are the signs of a guy liking you? Let's say that the guy was your best guy friend? What are the signs of a guy falling in love with you? At the moment, I'm in love with my best guy friend and friends say that from what I told him it sounds like he likes me too. Or used to? A few guy friends of mine say that from what I told them it sounds like he fell in love with me? So I could use a guy's advice right now lol.

His best guy friend actually even told me that when he first freaked out when I told him the truth, it was just because he was confused about his feelings for me. So he and I went out for 4 days afterwards but it ended when he got mad at me for several reasons. I became a little bit obsessive, needy, and clingy since I was going through a lot of stress due to family problems which I'm not usually like that btw. Then 12 days later he began dating a mutual friend of mine and they went out for a month but broke up deciding it was best to just stay friends. I view it as a rebound thing.

My best guy friend never told me directly how he felt about me except that he was confused. So my question is do you think there's a chance he still might have feelings for me since he just basically transferred whatever feelings he had for me onto our mutual friend. Another friend of ours agreed on my theory on how he was only infatuated by the special attention she gave him.

I could really use ur advice and thanks

Does a year of age REALLY matter to you girls?
Like would you go out of with guy one year younger?
Thanks in advance(:

I was always happy with my hair color and how people treated me because of it. It was really just my not being able to get a tan that was hard for me. My red hair just makes me feel even more like an individual.

Re: Questions for the opposite sex - Volume I - September 14th 2009, 09:44 PM

Stephen: Age to me is not so much the importance it's more the level of maturity if I liked someone a year younger than me and they were mature for their age then I would date them. It's more a matter of maturity for me than anything else, and I've never dated someone a year younger than me so I guess I'd feel a little akward about it, but I guess age is only what you make it, truth being the only reason I tend to go for older guys is because of the emotional difference in girls and guys.
hope that answered your question.

Matthew: Generally I try to go for more personality than anything but I do think looks do pay a key role in any relationship because you have to be physically attracted to someone to want to be with them, obviously it's not the most important thing but to me it is pretty important. I used to say I only go for personality but it's not true, and most girls who do say that are lying because a relationship especially a physical one there has to be some form of physical attraction.

Hello Chels,

Well do you mean like once your in a relationship or before that. I'll just answer once your going out because that's what you asked. If you meant otherwise just say and i'll discuss what i find attractive before relationships.

Beginning of a relationship. Well I can't say for sure not having ever been in a relationship, but here it goes.
Most Attractive: is a girl wanting to spend time together, but not necessarily constantly like being clingy. It also depends because if you have similar interests and know what your talking about I'm more inclined to spend time with you and I know I've been clingy to girls in the past lol so. Also, I think holding hands and hugging is fine early on. It depends who you are and the situation. A girl who listens, but also puts input into the conversation is good.
what I would find Least Attractive: is a girl who tries to kiss right away with me because I think you shouldn't just kiss for the heck of it and saying I Love You early isn't good either. It should be right time, being clingy can be annoying as I already mentioned, also with me though I like it when I make a girl laugh, but if they don't know the difference between something that isn't and is supposed to be funny isn't attractive.

Also, If I didn't like your personality and or physical appearance, I wouldn't be in a relationship and the point of a relationship and loving each other is to see past your loved ones flaws

Good Luck ^_^
Hope I helped a little with that.
Like you say everyone is different and sees things differently.

Only a year? Not for me! I'm dating a guy right now who is ten months younger than I am. I'm 100% ok with it!

For the guys -
Do you think girl boxers are that cute? I wear them just because they are comfortable for me and males seem suprised to find out. Is this a bad thing?

i didn't think my boyfriend was all that amazing when i met him, but now i've got to know him i think he's the hottest guy ever!! and his personality is so amazing,he's even romantic

o and question for the guys...

do you like romance?? if so,whats the most romanctic thing you've done/would do for a girl??

and another question i just thought of lol.
for guys: if your girlfriend suddenly developed some form of disability or mental illness, would you stick by her and support her??
and would you date a girl in the first place if you found out she had a learning disability or a mental illness or a pysical disability??

I do like romance, some movies just wouldn't be the same without a feeling of romance. I don't know what would be the most romantic thing I would do for a girl right now because I don't much inspiration not having liking toward any girl lol Maybe write a song, I'm getting pretty good at piano or play a medley of romantic songs. I'm sure I can do better than that if I had a reason to think of them and I work with antique cars lol I could take them for a picnic at dusk or something of sorts some place quiet. I would think that would be pretty romantic. It would depend of the girl I ended up with enjoyed the cars .
So far probably the most romantic moment I've experienced was when I hugged the girl I liked before we got into or separate cars and went on christmas vacation from school. But she didn't like me so though it was romantic in my eyes idk it was in hers lol.

If my girlfriend developed some form of mental disability or mental illness, I definitely would stick by her and support her because I believe it's right thing to do, not as an obligation or something, because you love and care about each other and they would do the same, and you have your memories together to keep you strong. Also, if I stay and support them it will only make us stronger all relationships hit rocky roads and if your relationship don't blow a tire you come out closer. The only girl I have ever really liked became suicidally depressed and that honestly didn't affect the fact i liked and I wanted to help her and be there for her. Not abandon her.

The other part, would I date a girl who has a mental or physical disability and or mental illness? The answer is depending what kind I don't care if you are in a wheel chair or something like that a physical disability is something i could care less about. I like them for who they are and if they are tied down to a wheel chair I don't care. I still think they are great . If there blind or deaf, I can work around that it would be interesting learning to communicate with them. Mental diability and illness is a little bit unclear because if your depressed I can deal with that and support you through that or being suicidal or phobic to a lot of stuff. I also know a few people who have mental disability and they act hardly different or struggle at all, if it was severe ADHD or something there's a definite chance I wouldn't, but it would be a case by case basis.

Hope I answered your question ^_^.

question for girls:
Would you date a guy even if he had pimple problems?

I've been struggling with it for a couple years trying to get rid of it and I'm a lot better than I was though.

Yeah. My boyfreind has some. I don't mind it though. He knows I'm a tiny bit grossed out by it but he trys to keep his face cleaner. We are teenagers so we will have to go through this. No problem, as long as he is trying. lol.

I've been struggling with it for a couple years trying to get rid of it and I'm a lot better than I was though.
yh i would date a guy with pimples or spots.my boyfriend has some spots apparently but i never notice them to me,i find it more natural for guys to have spots. i don't know why lol. and thanks for your answer to my questions .

question for guys:
why do most guys tend to fall for the loud, cheeky, cocky, sometimes mean girls who are very attractive? does this prove beauty is more than personality ?

I absolutely can't stand girls like that.

I mean sometimes I do fall for that beauty temporarily, but then when they act mean and stupid and stuff. That's all I need to hear. It's only a temporary thing and I've become friends with someone who I sort like I think lol and she's nothing like that, we just notice those girls cause there loud all the time haha. But they would never belong with me.

So the answer is no personality is way more important in the long run aka longer than a couple minutes.

Thanks for the answers guys. ^_^

It's hard, especially because some girls are subtle bullies so I can't always tell if they are jerks. For me, guys are easier to spot, just because they do obvious things like use a 'friendly' but condescending nickname. But once I notice the girl is a jerk, I really try to stay away.

I know people people who were softmores dating seniors and I knew a guy who was a senior dating a freshman.

There nothing wrong with it as long as both parties are mature

Question for the ladies: If you had sex with a guy once, and he was feeling in the mood again a couple weeks later and you told him that you were raped when you were 7 years old, what would be you reason for saying that?

I'm not a girl but I was friends with a girl who was molested and she said it because it happened in her past and she decided to tell me about it. It helps her get those feelings out, so it shouldn't really have anything to do with what the two of you are doing because you've had sex already. Though she might be a little uncomfortable with sex because of being raped. Ask her about it.

I wouldn't be able to say that because that's never happened to me. Nor would I ever use that as a lie. If it had happened, I'd probably be very hesitant to talk about it. If I felt I could trust the person, I would. I don't know how to answer this, sorry!

If she was nice enough, sure, why not however I've never gone out with a taller girl myself, but then I am quite tall myself... However it shouldn't really be a problem I guess...

My turnn...

Would you feel uncomfortable if your other half was going on a week long clubbing holiday to an 'intense' clubbing location?

Depends on who he was going with. If he were going with friends or by himself I wouldn't be too pleased. I just feel like if my boyfriend has to look at other women outside of pictures, I'm not doing something right. :/
I understand that guys need a sexual release and it doesn't bother me that my boyfriend has a playboy or anything like that but clubbing is a bit much.

Not really, though the girl I like is shorter than I am and every girl I've liked is shorter than I am. If it happened wouldn't have a problem. At home some of my neighbors are a short husband and tall wife. So it happens.

Some people think my sexual preferences are a little odd, and I'd want him to understand where I'm coming from. Very specifically, I'd want him to know why I'll never kiss him or let him kiss me.

No, not at all. I like a good night out with my friends - sometimes I just need a night of fun without my guy. I understand that sometimes he needs the same with his friends. I really enjoy being with him, but we don't have to be glued to each other. If there were a lack of trust in the relationship in the first place, it would bother me, but so would a lot of other things. But if our relationship was going well and we had a good foundation of trust, him going away for a weekend of partying wouldn't bother me. I'd expect to have the same freedom.

I have to disagree. You generalise, as you're not old enough to be in that age bracket. If you were fourteen yourself, or fifteen, I would be swayed to have more confidence in what you're saying - the truth is, it's not entirely true anyway.

The dicks of guys that age are a prime aspect of all of their relationships, but it isn't everything. Sure, we're horny little basterds, but that doesn't generally mean that our dicks rule our minds and that's why we go for the attractive and totally abhorrent personality. The truth is, most of us are attracted to confidence. That total abhorrent personality and conceded behaviour leads us to believe they believe in themselves, and it may be regretful to pursue that kind of girl in the end - but I have to say, that kind of behaviour is attractive. It shows confidence in herself, it shows happiness, it shows that they may actually know how to make themselves happy - and whether or not the attraction may be directed through admiration or it may directed solely through a form of infatuation, the truth stands that its attractive to the majority of guys.

My experience stems from a similar situation. We're always attracted to exterior beauty for sure, but for the girl to know she's beautiful is something totally different. Even those that aren't as attractive as others but believes herself that she's beautiful will have some sort of aura of confidence and guys including myself can spot that easily and generally find it attractive.

Bitches are a different story - and I think some of the guys in this thread may have taken the question and misconstrude the described behaviour to be thus.

Quote:
Males: How do I get a guy (my bf) to be more open and more... well... boyfriendish around me and not just a friend.

How do i get him to treat me like his girlfriend and not just his friend.
It's not as simple as you think. He has to believe in himself and believe that what he's opening up to is something you want. You can't force it upon him, he has to do it himself - but you can help him open up. Start gradually, compliment him, listen to him, touch him gingerly, help him trust you.

How a guy treats his girlfriend is different for every guy. Ask him to do things for you - start small, perhaps hold his hand in public and kiss him on the cheek. Most guys love the small, affectionate stuff. Perhaps it'll help him open up as well.

Questions for the girls: My ex is coming around in two weekends to watch a movie and have dinner with me, what would be your adequate night-time movie for a... well... date? Not to mention, she might be staying the night also. I want things to be simple and to go smoothly - I don't want to be cheesy, but I want to be cheeky.

We have a bet going (one which incurs "punishment" on the loser) - first one to touch the other loses, and she's told me numerous times that she thinks she's going to lose. What kind of good "punishment" would be significant to make the game fulfilling if you lose? I'm talking something really small yet something affectionate. We don't want to start off too big, but we don't want to go too small either.

What sort of dinner would be effecient for kicking things off? Home-made or take out?

I'm not willing to go over the top. Sure, a simple home-made dinner like pizza or something quick and easy, but definitely not to the extent of cooking for half an hour. Too cheesy for me.
Another thing, all we'll be doing is watching movies. It's a simple "stay at home" date, if you know what I mean.

Apologies for the mass amount of questioning.

Well I can answer part of the question. I can say that it doesn't matter what movie you choose as long as you both enjoy it. Sure you could get some love story movie, but if you like action movie go for that. Just don't get a miserable movie you wouldn't watch by yourself.

By what your saying you basically will want to get take out. Unless you wanted to make mac and cheese, pancakes, eggs, hamburgers, salad, etc..
But of course you didn't want anything fancy, you could make her breakfast for dinner lol. I think your girlfriend would enjoy you making breakfast for dinner or something made at home more.

Good Luck ^_^

Oh and I agree with Enjoyinglife about disagreeing with what matthew said I just failed to notice.

Yeah Matthew considering your not even in that age bracket you shouldn't be commenting and considering when I was your age I liked girls the way you said 14 to 19 year olds like girls. You still have a lot to learn and if you think all guys are like that your wrong especially as you get older you get wiser, and I'm 18 and I might be opening my eyes to what real love is and no I'm not trying to get in bed with her, I'm just enjoying being her friend, with thought of becoming bf and gf, love is about the time you spend with a person rather than the amount of physical contact. The only physical contact we've made is when our hands have touched by accident nothing more. It also depends on maturity so people are ready at a very young age others aren't and some people like me simply don't meet the right person till we are older it's the luck of the draw and the mindset that you say 14 to 19 year olds had lasted for me 13-15, when I had my first serious crush on a girl and it lasted 2.5 years because of her personality.

Though I'm not trying to discredit you you could easily understand what I didn't till I was 15, but just don't go generalizing about such a large bracket of people when your not in it and it's better to just say about people your own age or younger because you haven't experienced what an 18 year old has. Yes many of the people on my floor are like you say, but I'm not most of the people on the this website aren't

that's my 2 cents about that.
