The Genie Game :) -

Okay, I played this on another website before, but I couldn't find the discussion on how to play it again. I'm pretty sure I remember most of it though.
Basically, somebody makes a wish, it can be for anything, and then the next person grants it, but adds a twist. Ex. Person 1: I wish that I didn't have to go to school tomorrow. Person 2: Granted, but you have to go to school for the rest of your life Then Person 2 would make a wish and it would continue. Here we go  I wish I could have a pet cat

Granted, but you had to order it from overseas and it doesn't work in your country.

By getting your doctorate and leaving the university system early, you miss out on meeting your soulmate. You have a moderately successful career and a reasonably happy life, although after a string of unsatisfying relationships you find yourself revising your definition of love to something that sounds more like affectionate comfort. You eventually settle down with a man who, although kind and caring, doesn't connect with you at the deepest level. While you do indeed eventually meet your soulmate, you do so in your seventies, and in the final stages of terminal cancer. You strike up a conversation about the university you both attended: although he did so a few years after you left with your doctorate, which you achieved precociously early, you knew many of the same places and people. During your final weeks you bond over a shared love of psychology, shared ideals, a shared worldview. While you never fully realise what could have been, you die with an inkling of it, and with a profound sense of loss that you aren't able to fully explain.

You ace your exams, but use an advanced crib sheet system that is eventually discovered by the school's higher-ups. They come to your house in a fit of rage, barge down the door, and scream at you until you're reduced to a sniveling shell of a person. After that, you break into tears whenever someone insults you even slightly, resulting in you being lonely and sad for the rest of your life.
