Abandoned Mental Asylums (creepy) -

I was doing a bit of research on Forest Haven (a little talked about mental asylum where extreme cases of negligence led to it's closure after the deaths of numerous inmates) when I came across several collections of photos by people who break into abandoned buildings to take photographs. Beautiful, eerily enthralling, and in some cases just plain weird. Just had to post these two collections:

I know what you mean about them being eerie, but then again, I'm with you in that I can't stop looking at them. Abandoned places always fascinate me. Well, fascinate and scare me xD
I even heard your mamma wanted some of this...

Very cool!
I love creepy places! There's one nearby that they open up for Halloween - it's like 11 stories high or something. They give you a flashlight, and set you loose in the boiler room with your group - if you make it up to the 11th story, they refund your money($50 a person). I don't think anyone has made it past the 7th floor =D. Also, on the topic of creepy places, google Aokigahara forest in Japan. Scary stuff. skydiversinreverse  |
