I don’t think it’s good or bad. I can see how it’s confusing for a few days but then you get used to it.

I think it is annoying to begin with but after a while, we get used to it.

Re: Daylight Savings

We should modernize the debate. It is NOT stupid to keep changing the clocks. People think it is because they have been taught it is some sort of useless formality from decades ago. It is actually the most ideal way to keep a large segment of society in sync with the sun in a way that maximizes economic benefit. A lot of people don't want late sunrises in winter and a lot of people don't want the sun coming up at 3-4am in summer. It isn't "just an (inconvenient) tradition" and it isn't about farmers. It is a complex issue and not addressing it this way could result in a mistake being made that causes the sun to come up either too late in winter (personally, fine by me (I lean towards permanent DST)- but other people have issue with it) or too early in summer (would completely infuriate me). Dealing with 1 hours worth of jet lag twice a year is not that big of a deal. I feel like arguments that there are increased problems in the days after a time change don't take into account that this may be outweighed by beneficial factors. I also feel like public health arguments only take into account one aspect and also largely are tailored for people with morning schedules (not me). So I can firmly say that I am against permanent standard time. I HATE early sunrises in summer. Let's not make it an hour earlier.

Im willing to deal with a day or two of adjustment to enjoy later sunsets in summer and prevent extremely early sunrises and wasted sun when Im asleep. The question should be reframed as: option 1) take a day or two to adjust and feel briefly inconvenienced, option 2) deal with painfully early sunrises every single day in the summer, or option 3) deal with late sunsets in winter. I pick option 1 or 3. I firmly am against 2. I am not a Republican or conservative, but I more or less side with Trump on this issue.

There is a state in which don't do Daylight Savings with the rest of the country.
Also, this has nothing to do with Trump as where I live (not in the USA), has just begun Daylight Savings.

I feel like the Daylight Savings debate comes up every year around the time the clock's supposed to change.

It doesn't matter to me either way.
