Homosexuality - June 19th 2009, 09:53 PM

In this thread we are all going to assume that homosexuality is completely biological and I want to see what people think of it. I know many people do not think it is biological at all and some people think it's partially biological.

that won't work for a good debate, I'm sure.
my personal opinion is that it's biological. I don't really care to get into an argument though,

Um... not totally sure what you want in this thread? You mean if it was shown to be biological, how would people view it? Like would those who think its not have a different view toward queers? or?

I want people's views on it but I don't want it to turn into a debate about whether its bilogical or not because that seems to happen with every thread and while it is part of people's views on homosexuality it tends to take over the thread and then people's real views can get lost in it.

Well then surely that's the same as just asking something like "What do you you think about brunettes?"? When you're asking people about something you've already established to be presumed as fact there's very little that can be said about it...

Yeah, I'm confused about the purpose of this thread too. Sorry Andy Elf.

Wait... you don't want to debate about it being biological as you assume that it is, so you want to debate why it's biological, how it's biological, why it's not something else, etc...? When you debate, you want to convince that one thing is true and another isn't (assuming only 2 views), but with this, it's only 1 view... . I'm lost.

I can only guess they want to know what people would think of homosexuality if it were 100% proven to be biological.

Not around so much now that school's started

"Live a good life.
If there are gods and they are just,
then they will not care how devout you have been,
but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by.
If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them.
If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life
that will live on in the memories of your loved ones."
