International Space Station - July 28th 2009, 02:29 AM

This is a picture of the International Space Station in front of the Sun. A while back I posted a picture of the Space Shuttle in front of the Sun and people thought it was pretty nifty, so I thought I'd share this too

The guy that took this picture told NASA that he knew a way to take this pic from the ground. NASA told him that they couldn't pay him, but that they would provide him with the equipment if they got to have the photo... Guess it never hurts to ask, huh?

Quote:
This image of the International Space Station, taken just as it crossed the face of the sun, was captured by French astrophotographer Thierry Legault. Amazingly, Legault took the picture from the ground—using only a camera-telescope unit and specialized solar filters.

That picture is so cool, but nothing beats the one you put about a month ago of the space shuttle.

Everyone is born right-handed. Only the greatest overcome it.
