Brown's health deteriorating? - October 10th 2009, 04:16 PM

So there's been all this speculation of Gordon Brown being on anti-depressants / various other medication. And now it's been officially revealed he has two retina tears, but is not going blind.

I don't get why this is such a big deal?! I mean I understand people saying "it shows he's tired and old / not fit for the job" but seriously, like the majority think he's doing a good job anyway?

Plus where does it say that the leader of our country can't get sick like any other citizen??

And the blind thing? Why does his being half blind keep being brought up? What does that have to do with his job, or capability to do it well??

[I am kind of ranting sorry]

i agree with you.. i couldn't care less about what medication he is on. i saw an interview where he was asked if he was on any prescription medication.. and personally i think that's pretty out of order. that's his personal information.. and i wouldn't want my medical history broadcast to the world.

it's not like he's gunna be in power for much longer anyway.. so it's kinda irrelevent.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..

Likewise, as long as he's mentally stable, nothing should be stopping him running the country!

How can one love themselves, when they love absolutely nothing?

I totally agree. This country likes to make something out of nothing. It doesn't bother me that he's blind in one eye - since when did that stop anybody from doing anything? The fact of the matter is, Brown is useless...blind or not.

& it's just like she's in another world.
