This is upsetting, but sadly not surprising. It reminds me of an episode of Degrassi where Mai? gets a modeling job by sleeping with the guy. It happens, and it's sad and wrong, but in the fashion world, it's common.

She whispered to her own reflection "I will be strong."

"I am not what has happened to me.I am what I have chosen to become."- Carl Jung

"If ye harm none, do as ye wish."

Sometimes things just happen.

I think it's really sad that this happens and that the girls feel they can't report it because they won't get any more work. It's so unfortunate that these things are happening and nothing is done about it

I was thinking about the episode with Mia as well, although that wasn't as much rape.
I think it's horrible, and they need to show that. It is sad though that these models don't say anything just to get more work.

I heard about stuff like this when I watched picture me. I think it's disgusting how manipulative and sick people can be.

59 years? I'd rather him not see the light of day again.
Many shallow and dishonest people can work in the fashion industry it seems. This needs recognition, it's a multi-billion dollar industry, the workers in it should be protected better than most. Personally, I think there should be limits on the age at which a model can have a photo-shoot with photographers (through an agency, website, etc) and be allowed onto the Catwalk, even 18 is too young and why he was photographing 14 year olds?

I'm disgusted beyond words.

it's awful but it's the reality of the industry.. it doesn't make it any more acceptable but from what i've heard it happens a lot. :[
