Michael Dunahee - WHERE ARE YOU?! - January 23rd 2010, 12:43 PM

Hi Everyone!!

I hope you're having a super duper dandy day!!

Michael Wayne Dunahee was born on May 12, 1986

On March 24, 1991 - when he was 4 years old - he disappeared from a park near his home in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

He has never been found.

Here are two pictures of Michael Dunahee.

This one - when he was 4 years old. [And what he looked like - basically - when he disappeared]

And this is what he might have looked like at the age of 17. [He is 23 years old now] The picture was computer 'generated'.

IF you are Michael - or have seen Michael - let ME know. OR call the Victoria, B.C. police department. [I'll give you the number - just ask for it]

Thousands of kids go missing each and every year in the U.S. and Canada. [And throughout the world]

It's a horrible thing. I can only imagine how gut-wrenching it must be to lose a loved one and NOT KNOW where they are. And for many families - like Michael Dunahee's family - they NEVER know. All they can cling to is HOPE that maybe one day - he will show up at their doorstep. I can't help but think that I'd probably go insane if my son or daughter simply disappeared. It's been nearly 24 years for the Dunahee family. And still no sign of Michael.

I think it's our duty [As caring and compassionate human beings] to look at websites - like the ones I'm about to link you to - to see if WE recognize anyone. So I encourage you - ALL OF YOU - to do that.

Who knows. Maybe YOU can play a part in bringing someone back HOME again.

Wouldn't THAT be wonderful?
