i'm not scared by this. if we live in fear then the terrorists win. i'd be more worried about going to America than going to anywhere in western Europe anyway.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..

Its scares me that things like this happen. Whether its in New york or a small city in Italy. That this, is what happens in the world.

I don't see the point in being scared. If an attack happens, it's not going to be in a place or at a time when we were expecting it. Case in point: has it ever? You can't live your life afraid that at some point someone might possibly bomb the place where you are. That's just the same as being afraid that someone might possibly stab you on the Tube.

So, no. I'm not afraid. I won't change my travel plans. It's not worth it, and I honestly doubt that anything will happen now that the entire world is on red-alert. Terrorist attacks are most effective in spreading fear (which is the entire point; I don't think eradication is what they're solely aiming for) when they are not expected.

Al Queda threatens to do many things. Not many become realities.
9/11 was a tragic occurrence, but there was motive. To attempt this would be simply an attack on the Western World for the hell of it.
Don't be petrified, because then you'll be giving terrorists what they want, terror.

If my vote counts and we have to have an attack, I pick Paris... but that's just an old grudge of mine :P

Oh dear, terrorists again? And in Europe? But Europe doesn't have as many big buildings to blow up as America
