Pretty clear-cut case of unlawful entry there - what possessed them to do that in the first place is something I leave for others to work out. Given the police can't enter someone's house without a warrant, I don't favour their chances of arguing they had a legitimate excuse.

Was anyone else immediately reminded of Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

I think the principle must've been angry from watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I don't find it surprising he's still the principle because it just happened and the principle is probably dragging his feet to justifying his behaviour. The guidance counselor was also involved in the break-and-entry although they left earlier, it would still be trespassing on their part.

Sounds like my current career coordinator, but he is good friends with my dad and with the family so he comes whenever he wants.

Fucking shit. I would have beaten him within an inch of his life.

He has no right to do that. If that happens to me or my kids I would be really annoyed.

In all seriousness, that principal must have some serious issues.

Re: Principal Breaks Into Sick Students' Home And Tries To Force Them To Class - November 19th 2010, 06:04 PM

First of all, I love all the Ferris Bueller posts.

The principal should be in jail for this. Not only is it breaking and entering, but it's borderline attempted kidnapping. I don't think the details of why he did what he did make a difference in this case.

I kind of wish the family had a dog to bite the principal in the ass.

Even if the kids weren't sick, it doesn't give the principal the right to question it. If my parents called me in sick, they had reason, whether it was a legitimate illness or not. For instance... My mother always called us in sick on Good Friday because of religious reasons (Good Friday is always the first day the county takes away from our days off if it snows). Because of this, we weren't allowed to go anywhere during the school day, but if the principal came to "visit" he'd probably see us playing video games, watching TV, or whatever else we could think of, but it doesn't matter. If my parents called me in sick, and there's no reason to suspect foul play on the parents' part, then leave it.

I thought this story was pretty funny x)

But yeah he probably does have some issues.
But I know that if I had teachers like that I wouldn't have dared to skip school as much as I have, so in that way maybe it was for a good cause
