Wow...um...ok...

That was a total waste of my tax dollars. I mean, if they are willing to serve in the military or go to college, I guess that means that they are making an effort to contribute.

My question is how did they get into the colleges and military in the first place

Re: Dream Act - December 9th 2010, 03:18 AM

I can see where people who are already here could benefit from this and I suppose I probably support it for them, but the biggest problem I see with it is people sneaking in and claiming they've been here just to take advantage of it. And does it only count for people already here? Or for anyone that comes in the future, because I ABSOLUTELY, 100% oppose it for anyone not already here. Just seems like an incentive to get people to come here illegally. If they want to be here, follow the rules or get the hell out.

Don't count on it passing the Senate today. Not saying it won't, but it's less likely than in the House. Anyway, it seems like a good way to turn illegal immigrants into a resource: they only become eligible if they're educated or if they've served in the armed forces, and if they've payed taxes and not committed any crimes. Point is, the illegal immigrants are already in the country. May as well bring them into the system, and it prevents them from sponsoring relatives' citizenship applications.

i have the answer to end the illegal problems but no govenor or president has the balls to enact it.....

put a $500 bounty on all ilegals heads wanted dead or alive... they would stop coming here illegally if they could be killed for it like most other countries do....

Yeah, mass murder of illegal immigrants sounds like a great solution with no legal or ethical drawbacks at all. And most other countries do that? Really?

Yeah, because China and North Korea are wonderful role models for a civilised country. They're what we should aspire to. And seriously? Not worth enough to breathe? I'm wondering how many US citizens would, if they weren't US citizens, qualify for a green card.

Jajaja I live here we don't line up illegals and shoot them. Give me a link where a person was lined in a squad and shoot.
And I could care less what you do or don't do, I can say whatever I want. =)

I think it's a great idea. It's nice to see something happening with immigration that differs from the racial profiling case in Arizona.

how nice- to feel nothing but still get credit for being alive
