Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were shot in the back of the head in the presence of their wives.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theatre. Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln, made by Ford.
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran

It's interesting, but there the similarities end I feel. Lincoln was killed as part of a coordinated effort by former Confederates (including Booth) to kill the leaders of the Union, including the Vice President and Secretary of State. Oswald's motivation and possible co-conspirators, meanwhile, remain unknown. Booth himself was also killed by a Union soldier during an armed confrontation, not an assassination (he was armed and declared that he would not be taken alive, after all). Also Booth was hiding in a barn, not a warehouse, and there is considerable geographical difference between the sites of the two killings (Washington, D.C. and Dallas, Texas). Finally, Lincoln and Kennedy were from opposing political parties (Lincoln was Republican, Kennedy was Democrat) so there is no connection there either. As I said, it's interesting but more coincidence than anything - they are not the only presidential assassinations, and certainly not the only attempts.

There's on more: The day before Lincoln was shot he was in Monroe, Maryland. The day before Kennedy was shot he was in Marylin Monroe.
