Worker Rescued A Motorcyclist From Under Burning Car - September 17th 2011, 11:07 PM

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_960247.html
Quote:
As a 21-year-old motorcyclist lay pinned underneath a burning car, a group of courageous bystanders worked feverishly to save his life.
After colliding with a BMW on U.S. Highway 89 near Utah State University Monday, Brandon Wright became trapped underneath the flaming vehicle. The motorcycle and Wright were pulled under the car, where the motorcycle’s gas line was severed, causing the bike and the car to catch fire while he was trapped underneath, [Assistant Logan Police Chief Jeff] Curtis said.
Wright reportedly suffered broken bones, cuts, and burns, but thanks to the brave bystanders who lifted the car and pulled him out, he survived the accident.
The driver of the car only suffered minor injuries, but was "shaken up,"

I saw this on the news a few days again.
I think the group and the worker did the most fabulous thing you can ask for. This proves that there is still from humanity in this world

As an avid motorcyclist myself, knowing that people still care enough to lift a burning vehicle off of another biker, makes my heart flutter. I don't ride personally, but I am frequently a passenger on a motorcycle, and will be getting my license in the Spring. It's scary seeing these accidents, and that people really don't pay attention to motorcyclists, but it's still good to know that people would be willing to risk their lives to save someone else's.

Re: Worker Rescued A Motorcyclist From Under Burning Car - September 17th 2011, 11:14 PM

Ya my mom and dad ride motorcycles but our motorcycle isn't running right now. But when it is I always am worried if they will get in a wreak or something. One time when I was 3 my dad I think hit this car (but not several hit it) and it knocked him off and his head got all scraped up and stuff and was bleeding really bad
But yes I think that there are still some people willing to risk their own lives to save someone else's.
